NAMED AFTER LOCAL SURF SPOTS IN AND AROUND JBAY, SOUTH AFRICA
Our take on the traditional classic all-round dolphin fin. Reliable, versatile, high performance, and suitable for all conditions. It suits most boards from mid-lengths to more classic logs. Works well as part of a 2+1 setup.
POINT 6.5"- 11"
Our most popular fin shape by far!! It is versatile in giving you speed, quick in those turns, and accessible to nose-ride. It is reliable and suitable for all conditions. It suits most boards from mid-lengths to more classic logs.
SUPERS V1 6.5"- 10.5"
Oh, Supers, you are just like our local famous JBay surf spot it is so aptly named after. Inspired by the Greenough 4-A. It is versatile and works with just about anything. Well-balanced, a full base and tapered to a moderately flexible tip.
SUPERS V2 9.75"
Supers V2, with its wider base than our Supers V1 is going to give you more drive and the slightly fuller tip more hold and stability on the nose. Well-balanced, with a base of 8.25″/910mm full base and tapered to a stiffer flexible tip.
ALBATROSS V1 8"- 10.5"
Inspired by the DT flex fin, with a slightly bigger tip and a bit stiffer in foil. This is for longboarders and classic loggers to give you speed, maneuverability, and ample opportunity to hang 5, hang 10, and walk your walk! It suits most boards from mid-lengths to more classic logs.
ALBATROSS V2 8"- 10.5"
Our V2 is also inspired by the DT flex fin, but the tip remains slightly smaller and has a touch of flex. This is for longboarders and classic loggers to give you speed, a little more maneuverability as the V1, and ample opportunity to hang 5, hang 10, and walk your walk! It suits most boards from mid-lengths to more classic logs.
COINS 8", 9", 10"
It is all about speed and responsiveness. A great fin to try on boards that you want to loosen up a little. The upright profile will lend a vintage yet speedy and responsive feel to any mid-length or ‘70s-era style single fin. Works well as part of a 2+1 setup.
TUBES 9",10", 10.5"
Tubes has a narrow tube-like shape with a wide circular section that leads to a flex tip. This flex fin is all about maneuverability and responsiveness. You’ll get enough speed and the ability to hold in the wall on those big waves.
CHESTNUT 9.5", 10"
Our Chestnut was designed by Lesley Zonnekein, the founder of Surf Neutral. It is a mix between the George Greenough fin which provides great responsiveness in your turns and the Gato fin which is great for nose-riding. Lesley wanted a fin that gives stability on the nose while not compromising the turns.
MAGNA V1 9"-11"
Inspired and modified from the original Hatchet Fin, which was designed and popularized by Dewey Weber in the ’60s. It is a great choice for your classic 9ft+ longboard and provides a bit more versatility (turnability) than the D fin. Turning with fins like these is typically accomplished by moving towards the back of the board and pivoting from the tail.
MAGNA V2 9"-11"
The Magna V2 operates in a traditional manner. Uncomplicated and reliable, its sleek contours are designed to provide sturdy support during prolonged nose rides. The design isn’t overly dramatic, thereby ensuring good cruising and quick turns when required for re-adjusting positioning in the pocket or manoeuvring around sections. Just place it in the back of the box and witness its performance.
BONEYARDS 9.5", 10"
Boneyards is a boomerang-shaped fin with a narrower base and midsection for flex and a bulbous egg-shaped top end which gives a forward motion flick through turns. You can expect greater conductivity, responsiveness, and maneuverability.
Our flex fin with its tapering foil, an extended amount of rake, and a narrow sensitive tip has excellent maneuverability and a wide enough base for drive while also giving you stability on the nose. Works well with your glider, pintail logs, square tail logs, or wide-tailed mid-lengths.
Our secrets center fin never disappoints. It has just enough rake to give you the continuous speed needed to connect your turns but upright enough to keep you mobile and free. This one works well with 3.5 side bites to complement your speed, but it works well on its one also. Excellent with your performance longboard.
Our Huletts single fin has a wide base and lots of rake which ensures stability. The narrow tip allows for easy turns and an overall smooth ride. Works well with mid-lengths and as part of a 2+1 setup.
Rigid foil with a wider base gives drive and holds in those turns. Works well as part of a 2+1 setup.
GEORGE BUNTING 6.5"-7.5"
Designed by the late George Bunting, shaper and surfer. His intent was to use this as part of a 2+1 setup for his performance longboards. It gives drive, holds in the turns and enough stability to get to the nose.
