JBAY FIN DESIGN BRUCE'S BEAUTIES The brainchild behind this design is raw-unconstrained speed... it feels like there's a supercar under your feet. With a slightly wider base and a tight curve back into a more straight-up twin fin with a Sting on the Tail. The straight-up twin allows for a sharp pivot point to go hard off the bottom, and then the Sting on the Tail is the cut-off tip right at the end of the fin, which allows you to get that little extra bit of release when you want to drift the tail just a little more in a carve or off the top re-entry.These Twins can be used in a modern fish design and allow range into your more performance-based twin fin boards. Ride the power of the storm with the new Storm twin fins. Inspired by the majestic maneuvering of humpback whales and the raw force of weather systems, these fins deliver optimized speed, control, and responsiveness for your mid-length surfboard.

The humpback’s flippers hold the key to their agile movement, featuring tubercles along the leading edge that revolutionize fluid dynamics. The whale-inspired tubercles enhance lift for tighter turns, while preventing stall at high speeds. It’s genius millions of years in the making, proving once again that nature perfects designs eons before humans have the chance.

The color palette mirrors the beautiful chaos of storm systems—the weather forecast colors swirl together just as they do on the weather radar. Foiled by JBay’s Cronjé Wessels and tested by our team riders to find the perfect balance for optimal performance.

The 6.75″ profile and bulbous bow generate intense drive and hold, while the tubercle-lined leading edge provides enhanced lift for tight turns. You’ll feel the speed on takeoff and the looseness through turns, with a layer of control that makes riding twins totally intuitive.

Pair it with the 2.5″ Lyra trailer in the Storm color palette if you’re riding on your backhand or if you just want a bit more bite in your turns.

  2. SEND us an email using the form below or send us a WhatsApp with your fin order that includes the SHAPE and SIZE.
  3. We are continually building new fiberglass panels from where our fins are foiled. We will let you know what colors and designs we currently have available. If you would like a different color or design an extra fee will apply to build a panel especially for you.
  4. A 50% DEPOSIT is required to commence fabrication of your fin/fins. The remaining balance is due on completion, before shipping.
  5. It can be as fast as 1 day or take up to 2 weeks to foil your fins. It all depends on the availability of our panels.
