I had a friend with a dusty old longboard in the garage and one sunny day I convinced him that it was a good idea to take it to the beach for me to try surfing. I was hooked from my first wave.

Grace , flow and style. (with a lot of plops in between 🤣)

It’s an honor to be a part of a family of ocean lovers who all surf with such incredible style and live their lives with integrity and know how to have lots of fun.

Surfing in general isn’t just about your equipment, it’s about the joy the ocean brings and what surfing does for the soul.

My go to is the Albatross V1 which I ride in the natural curve 9’0 lady log . It’s a great fin which helps lock my board into the perfect perches.

I also love taking the family on hikes . I love finding waterfalls and mountain adventures.  I also love spending my quiet time doodling .

This would be surfing with my kids . They are the most proudest and most memorable surfing accomplishment. Sharing waves and the ocean with your family is truly something special .

I saved up for 3 months to buy a second hand Pumamanzi longboard. It cost me a whole R400 which was a lot back in those days . I feel like I’m becoming one of those longboarders now 🤣 anyway I loooved that board  it had blue stripes and colourful hibiscus as all girl boards had back in the early 2000’s  . I cried like a baby the first time I dinged it. 🤣
