We didn’t sew these-we found them. Pulled from racks, weighed in the hand, held up to the light. Some heavy, some lighter. Some trim, some generous. Corduroy collars, snap buttons, a hidden floral tucked inside one of them. Every shirt checked, measured, named.

They’re sold by measurement, not by tag. Tag sizes lie — fabric shrinks, brands cut differently, what was an XL in 1998 is a roomy L now. So we measure each shirt flat, armpit to armpit, and write the number down. You lay a shirt you already wear flat and buttoned, measure it the same way, and compare. Apples to apples.

Old skool patterns. Honest cotton, with a couple of honest synthetics marked as such. Every shirt is one of one. When one’s gone, it’s gone — no restock, no second run.
